Just got the humble bundle monthly and received xcom2 + 2dlc, now, i had xcom2 already, but I thought to myself, "yay, probably will have war of the chosen now and can replay the game with the good dlc" but no, they did not include that, the dlc's were just skins. Ok, so i went to G2A to see if the prices for 'war of the chosen' was down. and saw that 'war of the chosen – tactical legacy pack' was cheaper than the dlc alone. but suddenly discovered that its a dlc for a dlc. i immediately went searching for this video. in the back of my head i had 'we lost' repeating in my head. but firaxis was always weird, so whatever.
You should have added an expansion video to this video to really drive your point.
The Sims 4 should be illegal. It's addictive which is dangerous. My girlfriend just got into gaming and was almost about to shell out £300 to buy everything and I had to intervene…How can the base game be so much more cheaper for £6 when DLCs are £35 or £17 on sale…this is criminal.

Why would he a do something like this? Answer because gamers are idiots and they're more than willing to pay for it. I miss the days when you put the cartridge in and play the game and wait on part 2 to come out. Developers over the years start selling more and more DLC and it seems to get smaller and smaller. This is why I refuse to play the next GTA. They are hustling just like EA. Making the game smaller and releasing DLC after the fact. It's a cash grab. They're making the excuse of crunch time for employees. Why don't you just take another year or two to get the game done LOL seems like common sense for the consumer. But looking at it from the business side I completely understand. Gamers are idiots and they'll pay for it.

This is so fucking toxic. This should be illegal, or at the very least so heavily frowned upon that it costs the company more money to pull this shit than they actually make off of it. I'm so tired of DLC. It should be something a LITTLE extra (like alternate outfits or new weapons they thought would be cool) that they came up with AFTER the game was already made and released, and should be FREE 90% of the time. If you have to sell core pieces of a game or entire add-ons, not only was your game not ready yet, but you just stole money from your fans that already paid you $60-80. We need to get rid of this practice, it's so unbelievably toxic and immoral.

I think the Sims 4 would make more money if there were no DLCs and the updates came free. Much like Minecraft does.
The Sims 4 always felt so empty and I don’t have the money the enjoy the full experience.
This is why I prefer the Sims 3. It was the game that I remember the most. I still think that the DLC was ridiculous, but it wasn’t ever like THIS. This is just another level of scummy.
The Sims 4 is hollow as fuck even with all the DLC. I can't imagine how much more hollow it feels when you spend your own money on it.
