Hottest Nashville Hot Chicken | Hattie B's Shut the Cluck Up (College Vlog #10)
Today we decided to try Hattie B’s hottest hot chicken option, “Shut the Cluck Up.” We went to the Midtown location on 19th Ave. which is easily accessible from the Vanderbilt University campus. Our exact order was a small white “shut the cluck up” with coleslaw and pimiento mac and cheese. All the food was amazing, but the chicken was unbearably spicy.

I love how people overreact in videos lol Like just stfu & eat the d*%# chicken… I’ve had the “Shut The Cluck Up” & it’s not nearly as bad as these guys are making it out to be. Heck, I even put more hot sauce on mine lol

Tried the Shut the Cluck Up chicken sandwich and I loved it. The spicyness is just right; not to the point where it's unbearable to eat. I eat peppers on the daily, so maybe I'm just used to it ??♂️ Only advice is to not swallow your saliva by itself ?
Listen…it’s real. I ate there yesterday…3 bites and the rest went in the trash. Different level of heat.

Someone brought leftover Hattie B's into where I work today. They had Shut the Cluck Up. They didn't tell me what it was. I had no warning. It was so bad, my ears popped and I saw stars.
EDIT: I wanted to update my original comment to inform anyone watching that Shut the Cluck Up is NOT the hottest chicken in Nashville. That honor goes to a place in Rivergate called Slow Burn. Their sauce puts this to shame. As in, their third hottest is substantially hotter than Shut the Cluck Up. I don't recommend it, but you're not gonna listen.
