Taiwan is not a country
Canada is fortunate that over a half a centurys ago they elected a Bleeding Heart Liberal Government and with the support of the Democratic Socialists they gave themselves a universal health system and everybody including immigrants are covered. It costs about half per person than the American system. SOME Conservatives would like to change that but dare not because they would never again get elected.

Look at the seriousness and how well directed the country is about beating Conv19. Taiwan took the steps necessary for the people who live there too do their part too fight this virus and keep there people safe. Taiwan population wise is far larger than ours (Canada) . As well as their citizens are working together as a whole too do their best too keep everyone from being sick and spreading the virus and not being able to get past this. There government is running this in my mind perfectly with the citizens of Taiwan following what's expected of them too keep everyone safe. There's a supply band on what a person can purchase, they had stop all international travel into Taiwan . They have people following the social distance rule imposed and being followed, people not going outside and causing unnecessary contact between each other . Canadians didn't take this seriously and still don't , they go out whenever they want to wherever they want not following the social distancing ruler, not self iceolating and buying up all the supplies and trying too make money off their fellow Canadian by selling hand sanatozor, lysol wipes triple the value . The worst part is that these people who bought up all the toilet paper, meat , dairy , vegetables and fruits are still just going on visiting friends and family members going to high populated functions basically ignoring the fact that we have this virus here in out towns and streets. Just so selfish too set up your home for long periods of iccolation but yet ignore the warnings of contact with others and leaving your home when it's not necessary. . These people should be arrested and all placed in a town strictly made up of people who are sick with this virus and have zero disregard for other human beings
i am writing march 29, canada did nothing for a long time, they didn't stop flights from china til late march, our borders were still open from the us including illegal crossings til march 24, we still have flights landing in canada from china their passengers transfering to other flights to other parts of the globe leaving our airport workers vonerable where they can take the ccp virus home and spread to others. trudeau is an evil enty.
I blame this network for the panic in our stores.

Limits! Put limits on essential items. I've only seen this at Shoppers Drug Mart (even though it hasn't made a difference)… But my local grocery stores haven't done it as far as I can see.
For two weeks I watched as Canada's initial cases rolled in, all returning residents from China and Iran. I couldn't understand why travel wasn't being restricted, and why we relied on these initial victims to isolate themselves. Of course, just after a few weeks, our numbers started increasing 10 fold, and, no surprise, by community person-to-person transmission. (What did we think would happen? Did we think the oceans in between us made the difference?)
I can not fathom why our government allowed tens of thousands of people to flow into our country unchecked… As though a verbal recommendation was enough; especially for those with language barriers.
We had the opportunity to avoid crisis, but we spoiled it. Now my children can't go to school, I can't work, can't visit family, and we're short on basic necessities.. and I'm one of the lucky ones.
I don't believe these were honest mistakes or misjudgements/miscalculations. Somebody benefits from the social chaos and economic collapse. You can be sure of it. Poor Trudeau is the patsy.
As a consumer who hasn't been able to buy toilet paper for 3 weeks, I understand entirely that there is no shortage in supply chains… I understand our people are panic buying and short-changing the rest of us… Leaving vulnerable families more vulnerable.
I want answers and I want solutions.

Sounds like people r panic .. here in ?? governor in different states have put limits on toilet paper , hand sanitizer, milk. Stores have opened early, and special hours for elderly people and at risk communities.. and most stores have started delivery services here in the states..
