Korean government is now suppressing the test until the 4/15 election to artificially control the new case numbers.
Here's some of the measures the Korean gov. and citizens are initiating:
1. Testing- We were notified very early on to NEVER visit a hospital or go outside if we had symptoms. Instead we were advised to contact a hotline, and visit designated institutions with testing equipment.
2. Tracking- Citizens are immediately notified of the movements of a patient, down to street and building names.
3. Sanitizing- Almost every establishment, building elevator, public transport systems.etc are equipped with sanitizers. Every highway bus is throughly sanitized after each journey.
4. Social distancing- Of course, almost everyone wears masks. Some establishments will ban u from entering without wearing them. The gov. has introduced a measure(following Taiwan?) so that a citizen can only buy a limited number of masks on a designated weekday, confirmed by citizen ID. This prevents panic buying.
So yeah, kudos to our peeps. But Korea's success means nothing when other nations are unwell. I hope everyone good health.. Especially those who rightfully deserve a responsible government but don't have one
Korea's ancient ethnic names include chosen, Guri, Han, khan and Mahan.
We hope that people around the world will be liberated from Corona. cheer up!
I hope to get better this situation than now
here in japan our ultranationalist goverment is trying to cover up every thing lol.
hope other country stay safe?
One word…… Bravo ????????
South Korea had lessons learned from "MERS Virus" from middle east few years ago.
This painful experience makes S. Korea has so well-ready disease defence system.
Well trained and ready that is the real reason why.
국__뽕
Yeah…… well in America everyone is getting a $1,200 check, you know so we can bribe the virus.
I know South Korea did very well but I also wish they give credits to Taiwan.
Taiwan has such a low number that it’s amazing it’s under 300.
Focus of a country should be on this people and just monitor them
&try idet £fy p=¥blems and find solutions %¥ track %hem very well %&hru %elephant and mobile networks
We don’t have any panic in here… the best way is cooperation from the Government and the people
Philippines left the conversation

Not just disease itself

I am medical doctor in korea.
I have volunteered to go to Daegu, now I am in present hospital, when the outbreaks came, none of organization to manage the corona virus.
But president and dicision makers fastly started to do organization and made systems.
the first day I came to daegu was terrible. but second day i had experienced the well organized systems and after 7 days, we got a huge and perfect troops to overcome the harship.
I was surprised that those system was made for only 3days , even for volunteer's laundry or T shirts in Level D.
Not only were systems fast but also be perfect to protect virus and to volunteers.
I'm South Korean. In South Korea, almost everyone (95%) wear masks when they go outside. PLEASE WEAR MASK EVERYONE
the only one criticizing Korean government: Korean press
I was in Korea in Feb. when the virus began to spread, more than the half of the people was already wearing masks and sanitizing hands voluntarily.
Please don’t fight with toilet paper
국뽕??
