  1. Korean government is now suppressing the test until the 4/15 election to artificially control the new case numbers.

  2. Here's some of the measures the Korean gov. and citizens are initiating:

    1. Testing- We were notified very early on to NEVER visit a hospital or go outside if we had symptoms. Instead we were advised to contact a hotline, and visit designated institutions with testing equipment.

    2. Tracking- Citizens are immediately notified of the movements of a patient, down to street and building names.

    3. Sanitizing- Almost every establishment, building elevator, public transport systems.etc are equipped with sanitizers. Every highway bus is throughly sanitized after each journey.

    4. Social distancing- Of course, almost everyone wears masks. Some establishments will ban u from entering without wearing them. The gov. has introduced a measure(following Taiwan?) so that a citizen can only buy a limited number of masks on a designated weekday, confirmed by citizen ID. This prevents panic buying.
