Everyone can say what they want. But if it were me, I would have let Babs crash in that float. Apologized later, after her bath, then told her that just because you were bullied doesn't mean you have to be one too.

in my opinion, they should have let babs humiliate herself. not only did she bump pinkie pie's float off the road, destroying it, they all could have gotten injured from the crash. that's not just bully behavior, that's reckless driving. Babs deserved what was coming to her

Apple bloom and scootaltoo and sweetie bell babes she didn’t want to be bully you because she was being bulled by her siblings back home she came to the farm to get away from her troubles there’s been some bullies teasing her to pieces for her blank flank
I really didn´t like how they handled this episode. I was bullied when I was a kid, and trust me, at that time you don´t CARE that the bully has problems at home or whatever. The only thing you want is for them to leave you alone.
I was angry that after all Babs did, she suffered no cosequences for her actions just because she was bullied at home and it was CMCs who were in the "wrong" despite the fact that Babs literaly STOLE the product of their hard work. After all that, Babs just apologized (altough sincerely) and that was it. Sorry, but in this case I feel apology is simply NOT enough.

Unpopular Opinion: I actually felt this episode handled bullying okay. It was flawed I admit, and I get that it can be seen as saying that if a bully was bullied it gives them a free pass, but I don't think that was what they were going for.
Like at least one other comment points out, purposely humiliating someone is not the same as standing up to them.
I was mostly just happy that they treated bullying as serious, and also showed that it can lead to more bullying (though not always.) I had gotten so used to bullying on kids shows being treated as a joke, that it was nice that they took a serious look towards it here. It wasn't necessarily good, but it was better than I what I was seeing around that time.
