On this episode I interview photography Corwin Prescott who makes a living shooting nude photos of woman, men and couples. A quick heads up, if you go to his website the photos are NSFW, you’ve been warned The interview starts at 15:20
What I loved about Corwin is how you can tell he does this for the art of it. Where as many other so called “nude” photographers are simply out there to get girls naked and have sub par images. Corwin’s images are fantastic any way you slice them.

Corwin is one of my favorite photographers, I don't shoot nude photos, but his style is so artistic that inspires me to shoot and study more.

Outstanding. I have followed Corwin's work for 4 years now. I have shot with his lovely wife as well. I have great respect for them both, for the work they do, and the art they create. My favorite Fine Art photographer.

He sells prints for $500 a pop, so he makes his money if some people buy his prints every month, that's why he doesn't need to charge so much to shoot people. I doubt many people even pay him for the photos, they are probably 90% done on a TF basis, and the rest is some exchange of money either way.

Contrary to what all the people in the comments think – the title makes sense. It will grab clicks. While it may seem more quote on quote "professional" to have a title like "How this photographer makes money shooting nude portraits" or something like that, this title makes sense to grab clicks. Can't blame you. Plus, this was extremely interesting to hear from someone who makes a living in something most people wouldn't like. Photography is art!
you should interview Martin Strauss or Aleksandr Mavrin, or check 500px for this kind of photos. You would find much, much better looking models and photos than this guy.
3:11 Am I imagining things, or were you planning on doing a real world review of the DJI Spark? A perspective from a photographer would be nice, I think you could make a review for that stand out. Looking forward to it if it happens.

I always give the model the option to bring a friend if that makes them feel more comfortable. Most times the model prefers to be alone, but have had the friend join in and get her gear off too for a shoot.

The matter is that what he says at the end of the interview. Many see want to see the final situation: having a nice house in the most named cities, with a great bank account and following. Well most of the times that does never happen from the night to morning, but you start little and grow up. Be happy to even break even on anything, but at least at the end you own a house, you own the expertize that will lead to something else. And it does not matter where you live.

What is the meaning of GWC?
I have a lot of respect for photographers who shoot nudes, there are some incredible photographers in that scene. Helmet Newton for example. However I don't know if I could ever do it myself, it is very very much out of my comfort zone.

I mean common she lying on f…. ice. This is no art this is some how sick becouse the audience should enjoy the pain of a women
It took a while to get interesting because Corwin is such an introvert, but he is smart and it is must watch as it progresses. I looked at your photos, Corwin and you are not charging enough for a shoot at $500.00. You are a good photographer that should definitely be charging more. Well, if the market is willing, of course. Great video Jared. I subscribed because of it.
love those interviews on rawtalk..maybe this should be the way to go for the show. there are a lot to learn from the first person perspective. i am still trying to find my style as a birding photographer. weird…i know.
