I don't think xrp has addressed price fluctuation issues when it comes to remittance payments and moving value from bank to bank… don't think USDX addresses this.

I've noticed a lot of confusion in the comments here about whether or not USDX stablecoin is backed by XRP. According to this article by AMB Crypto, the answer is "yes." It's under development now by Kava though they are still determining the feasibility of the project.
